Technical Sales Adviser

BIGDUG, a strong brand of TAKKT Group is seeking motivated individuals to join their team in Gloucester as Technical Sales Adviser to shape the future of work!
Tasks:
- Perform enhanced qualification for larger or more complex enquiries
- Engage customers on the phone, email and by Teams
- Consult with customers and qualify opportunity
- Work with Category, suppliers, Logistics and installers to specify the most appropriate solutions and schedule deliveries
- Arrange CAD layouts, where appropriate
- Arrange site visit for field sales colleagues, where necessary
- Register, quote, revise and follow-up customer enquiries
- Liaise with Care & Support* colleagues to deliver rapid and excellent customer service *CAD; Customer Services; Quality and Environment; Category; Logistics; Finance
- Maintaining CRM in respect of your own opportunities
- To deliver excellent customer experience from the start of each sales opportunity to delivery and installation
- To coordinate and schedule customers’ orders with the end-user; suppliers; finance; BiGDUG logistics; intermediaries (delivery and installation companies) and Customer Care colleagues.
- To identify and convert opportunity to up sell and to cross sell across the BiGDUG product portfolio
Profile:
- Collaborative in approach
- Sales negotiation skills, ideally with demonstrable experience in B2B direct selling
- Experience of Industrial Materials Handling Industry, ideally
- Project management skills and ability to work with colleagues in Customer Care, Category and Logistics to coordinate delivery of your customers’ orders.
- Facility with CAD (Autocad, Pecon, Sketchup) desirable but not essential
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, for example in:
- Maintenance of customer contacts and following-up opportunity
- Meeting quote deadlines
- Able to work under own initiative or part of a team and to tight deadlines
- Thorough attention to detail
- Flexibility and openness to change
- Ability to take initiative
